Astronomy Through the Ages

The GAS would like to invite everyone to the first in a series of talks on Astronomy. 

This talk, Astronomy through the ages, deals with how Astronomy has developed as a science throughout history. It will look at the importance astronomy  played in ancient cultures, and the relevance it has in modern times.
